We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sandwich Worker for the Canada Summer Jobs program. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld. The position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development, with training provided to support your success.
** Responsibilities: **
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders and restaurant standards,
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as slicing meats and vegetables,
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment,
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers,
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS system as needed,
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
** Qualifications: **
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status,
- Enrolled as a full-time student in the previous academic year and intending to return to school in the upcoming academic year (ages 15-30),
- Hardworking and reliable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively,
- Excellent communication and customer service skills,
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
